Montreal United FC continues to strengthen its squad for the 2025 campaign with the official signing of Julien Limon, a versatile midfielder whose career journey spans three countries, two continents, and a whole lot of ambition.

Limon arrives from AS Montis (AAA) and CEGEP St-Hyacinthe Division 1, and his track record speaks volumes. From his time competing in Mexico’s professional 4th division, to sharpening his game at the prestigious Real Madrid Academy in Spain, Julien has built a profile that blends technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and an undeniable hunger to win.

And just before putting pen to paper with Montreal United, he was on trial with Celtix du Haut-Richelieu—a well-respected Ligue 1 Québec side—making his signing with United a massive statement of intent from both player and club.

“I am very excited to get on the field with the squad and get to work on a project that aligns perfectly with my personal career goals,” said Limon.“Can’t wait to achieve big things with the organization this season. Montreal isn’t ready.

Fans can expect a player who thrives under pressure, reads the game with maturity, and brings a sharp edge to the midfield battle. Limon isn’t here just to add depth—he’s here to be a difference-maker.

“Julien’s experience and intensity immediately stood out to us,” said a club official.“His background in international academies and professional leagues adds a serious boost to our midfield, and we’re excited to see him make his mark.”

At just 20 years old, Julien Limon brings both youth and experience—having trained with some of the best minds in the game, while developing a mindset grounded in professionalism and drive.

This is more than just a signing. It’s a signal.Montreal United isn’t just building a team—we’re building a force. And with Julien Limon on board, that mission just got a whole lot stronger.

Welcome to Montreal United, Julien!
